GIRLSTUFF.PERIOD FUNDRAISER
We created GirlStuff.Period to provide 2500 girls in Africa, every semester, with underwear and re-usable menstrual pads, so they can stay in school and become employed. GirlStuff.Period will employ 5 girls in 2018 with an increase in employment of 20% year over year. In 2018, we will deliver 5,000 pads per semester and, therefore, be able to give girls an education and break the poverty cycle.
OUR GOAL
Our two major goals in GirlStuff.Period are to increase the education and employment rate for women in African communities we work in and support by 15% every year until we've reversed the drop out rate to single digits. By being educated, women in Africa can then understand health, nutrition, family planning and have the power to take charge of their own life. By giving women an education, MAWO will increase economic growth within African communities.

#PADSAGAINSTBULLYING FUNDRAISER
The Pads Against Bullying campaign will provide 5,000 girls in Africa every 2 months with one reusable menstrual kit. Each menstrual kit lasts up to 2 years and includes reusable pads, underwear and other menstrual products. With the menstrual pads, girls won't be bullied by boys, will be able to stay in school and graduate. They will also be able to find employment after graduation, which automatically boosts the economical state of the region.
OUR GOAL
Our major goal for Pads Against Bullying is to provide reusable menstrual kits to stop the bullying for 5,000 girls in Africa every 2 months, so they can pursue their education and graduate. Our second goal is to increase employment for women in African communities. For this, Pads Against Bullying funding will also be used to provide employment for GirlStuff.Period and increase it by 20% every year until the drop-out rate has been reversed to single digits.
