ENABLING EDUCATION FOR BOYS AND GIRLS

The primary reason of school dropout and unemployment for women is not having underwear or menstrual products. Moreover, young ladies are bullied and teased in school when their period occurs at an inopportune moment in school. The impact that has on a young lady is drastic, which automatically results in them dropping out of school and losing their self-worth.

ENDING BULLYING AND BOOSTING EMPLOYMENT

Our major goal via GirlStuff.Period is to provide reusable menstrual kits to stop the bullying for 5,000 girls in Africa every two months, so they can pursue their education and graduate. Our second goal is to increase employment for women in African communities. For this, GirlStuff.Period will also be used to provide employment and increase it by 20% every year until the drop-out rate has been reversed to single digits.

BREAKING HUNGER AND POVERTY

The challenge is not in providing food to developing countries, but in creating a long-term solution to the food depravation issue, so communities can become self-sufficient. Therefore, we developed a solution: Via various techniques and training, communities learn to build skills to provide food sustainably all year round to their families without outside help. From there, My World in A Garden, Vertical Food Garden was developed as a part of My Arms Wide Open initiatives in Africa.
